Dancing Queen

This Sunday was the marathon and it felt strange to be in the city and see people walking around with their finisher medals. I felt a tinge of jealousy. But I miss the training or the punishing run. We ended up making a trip into the city to a dancing shoe shop that one of it's claim to fame is selling shoes to Dancing With the Stars (The have an LA store too). The Missus has apparently crossed the line, she wants dancing shoes. Me, I just looked at the dancing shoes closely and found a regular pair that seems to suit the job better than my current pair of dress shoes that I use. I am not ready to drop $100 plus for a pair of shoes that I can't wear in the street. But who knows if we really get hooked . . . —NY
