I was going to post this on my other blog because it's a fashion thing (this is a play on the Japanese fashion label, Comme des Garcons), but I thought you might appreciate it. The message also doesn't really fit the current mood of my other blog, although this is what M repeated to me multiple times last weekend when we were in the throes of our fights. Tonight is the first night he's not here, and guess what? I'm totally cool. I don't know if I will be in the future, so I don't want to get too cocky, but for now I'll take the peace.—SF

Wow, can't believe you are alone. Hope your chin stays up. How appropriate that you would post this today. Today as I was crossing the street a car ran the red light but a short older woman tried to step in front of the car be cause the light was on her side. I personally don't like to risk my life against cars. But, er . . . let me continue. After the guy dangerously cuts in front of the woman, the fat ugly guy, leans out of his fat ugly SUV and literally looks down on the woman and said something very rude and intimidating in a low voice of which I can't remember now. But it pissed me off. I yelled after him, "You are the one who ran the red light you asshole." Then in my race walk pace I caught him on the next short block at the light and yelled, that was all on you. That was your fault. And I was really loud because the passenger window was closed. The was a kid sitting there. I am guessing that is why he spoke so rudely right IN the face of the woman. I don't know why it pissed me off so much. But I do need to Comme des FUCKDOWN.
ReplyDeleteYou probably got so upset because someone fairly innocent was harassed. Remember when we were on the train in Japan going to Kyoto Eki to eat at Katsukuriya and this woman on the train was clearly upset with her boyfriend? I don't know what made us think that her boyfriend was intimidating her, but you got right up alongside him and loomed over him menacingly. You were sticking up for someone. It's those harassers need to Comme des FUCKDOWN.
ReplyDeleteOh, Day 2 alone...still doing OK. Went for a hike, came home and made a salad, now tidying up because I can't think in a cluttered space. Watching Fashion Police--funniest show on TV. Still taking it one day at a time; like I said, I don't want to get cocky. Besides, Mark still has the majority of his stuff here. He left underwear, pajamas, house shoes--all on purpose just in case he decides to stay the night. So technically he's not really gone yet.
