This is a view from the Bay Bridge (damaged during the 1989 earthquake) of the new bridge, which they're putting the final touches on now. It's scheduled to open on Labor Day this year, just six years after the original projected date in 2007. We usually cross the bridge to hike in the East Bay, but this time we made a special trip to a TJ Maxx to root for designer deals for Operation Office Wardrobe. How interesting. I didn't know they were rebuilding that bridge. Here we are seeing the Tappan Zee Bridge in the super early stages of being rebuild. They have been talking about it forever but finally there are new pillar in being set in the water but still no sign of the bridge. Glad to see you are being frugal with your shopping for the new wardrobe. Good stuff at good prices.
