A King Kong-sized Marilyn Monroe in Palm Springs. I tried to get M to stand between her legs and look up, but he wasn't having it. To get an idea of her scale, compare the size of the two adults in the right bottom corner. I also find it amazing how such a rigid material (fiberglass?) can be shaped to convey such fluidity. Expect a few more Palm Springs posts in the coming week.

On another note: as you know, I've started up another personal blog that's attached to my website. I used Wordpress. For the record, Blogger is so much more easy going and intuitive.—SF

    I think it would have made the photo if someone was underneath. Heck, that is what the statue was designed for I am sure.

    Funny, I used Wordpress first and still haven't gotten used to Blogger. I always click the wrong things and almost always I have to search for the "new post" button. —NY
