You are too funny. Happy Friday the 13th, I didn't set foot outside today. I hope your green smoothie stained troll feet are looking better tomorrow. I will probably die of a heart attack soon. The missus usually does most of the cooking and when I step into the kitchen with my hearty meals it not such a bad thing after days of somen and tiny fish that stare up from the plate at you.

I think this is a record for me, five days straight of cooking. This week's menu, homemade chicken pot pie (store bough pie crust), bar-b-qued rosemary chicken (an experiment), mac n cheese n pan fried fish (the fish was cooked separately), ham and pineapple pizza (store bought dough on my new pizza stone) and today was topped off with bison mini burgers. I didn't have any buns so I used one of those Pillsbury French rolls out of a tube.

I was quite pleased with the flavor. I knew it would be a little dry since bison doesn't have as much fat as regular beef, so I mixed in a little olive oil. I also ground up some onion garlic croutons (via Alton Brown's meatloaf recipe), thick slice of grilled onion on top, shredded Mexican cheese mix, green pepper bits, paprika, ketchup and it was finished off with a last minute addition of mayo. It was the most flavorful burger I have ever made.—NY
