I know you don't want this to turn into a food blog, but I couldn't resist posting a pic of the pan-fried potatoes I made yesterday for breakfast. Do you remember teaching me how to do it over the phone, when I was living in Sonobe? So, 13 years ago now. Cut potatoes, pan fry in butter until they get brown and crisp, and then throw in some water to make sure they cook all the way through. I used some leftover fingerlings here and they were DELICIOUS. That said, I haven't had a speck of green to eat in two days. You can imagine the state of my digestive system at the moment. But potatoes รก la NY are worth it.—SF
