Off-Broadway
When to see an Off-Broadway play Saturday. One of the buskers that I met on that project was in it. Believe it or not, it was my second Off-Broadway play that I have seen because of a busker that I met. I was expecting another strange experimental piece. But perhaps the first one I saw was Off-Off-Broadway. This one was quite real and quite intense. There were two stories. The first took place during the civil war and the second was at a Nazi death camp. I was worried that I would fall asleep and easily be seen by the actors. No need to worry. The place was so small I even worried at one spell that I would get spit on, as you could see saliva spewing from mouths during intense scenes. Also unsettling when one actor seemed to have chosen my seat as the focal point for his gaze during a monologue. It was very good play and the acting was top rate. I sneaked this shot during the intermission since pictures where not allowed. —NY
