The sunset sky over San Francisco, as seen from high the Oakland Hills. Sadly, you could also see that the city in the distance was covered under a blanket of fog, so it's a pretty good bet that all San Franciscans had no idea of the beauty going on right above their heads. It's a good lesson about life in general: even though skies are gray, you can take comfort in knowing that blue skies—or pink, orange and purple skies, as the case may be—aren't far away.—SF
