Lady luck. Found this baby on the Golden Gate Bridge, which we walked across today as our weekly hike. Don't laugh but I kinda believe it was my mom's spirit. The bridge is so windy and noisy and there are no plants or flowers around, so it's very strange and very dangerous place for a tiny ladybug. Also, my father, who happened to return from his winter in the Philippines today (I had no idea until he called), spread my mother's ashes over the Golden Gate Bridge. I've also been having a hard time lately, as you know, but this week I got that contract job and the travel story-yoga piece. I feel like it was a sign that my mom is looking out for me and I should just trust that I'm following the path she's guiding me on. Of course, this is all up for debate. What do you think?—SF

  1. I can't talk. I have seen these little guys and felt they were signs. I once got one with reverse colors and thought it was a bad sign. I am surprised your father didn't ask you to join him in spreading your mother's ashes.

That is what I want done when I pass. I want my ashes spread in a pretty place so that is where people can "visit" me. I hope you enjoyed your visit.

  2. I actually settled on the "meaning" of this particular ladybug. Here, I was trying to figure it out. I knew it meant something, but wasn't sure what exactly. See my other blog for the concise version.
