Today's loot from an estate sale a few blocks away from our apartment: a carved wooden antelopey-gazelle thing, a mini butcher knife (it's actually a cheese knife), a vintage wine opener and a mini brownie pan. We picked up the feather along our route. Grand total: $5. Hunting for cool things you'll probably never use again: priceless.—SF

  1. Nice pic. I find estate sales nice because even if you don't find something to buy you get to look around what is hopefully an interesting house.
