Took myself to a matinee of Silver Linings Playbook at this old theater in the "mini Chinatown" neighborhood near my house. Well, not near my house. It took me 40 minutes to walk there. Anyway, I rather enjoyed the movie. It spoke to me. Like when the main girl character said, "I give and give and at the end of the day I'm empty." (Totally me.) And when Bradley Cooper's character said, "If you stay positive, you have a chance at a silver lining. (So not me.) Incidentally, sorry for the crummy photo. The sun was shining in my lens (first rule of photography: make sure the sun is behind you), so I couldn't see what I was doing. Anyway, the outing was a nice break from work, home, and M, the BBD-seeker.—SF

I like the photo. It reminds me of an old photo album pic. If this movie was a remake and you told me this photo was from the 70s I would believe you. Bradley Cooper reminds me of M. Every time I see him in a movie M crosses my mind. I hope your Sunday goes well. I am looking forward to taking it easy.
