This photo just doesn't capture the moment. There were about 10 kids that went down this hill at once. If you look closely there is a dog midway down the hill running and there is a ramp near the top of the hill that a few caught air on. I would have worked the scene but people don't like strangers taking pictures of their kids so I just snagged this one on the sly. We took a snowy hike at Rockefeller Preserve and this technically isn't part of the preserve but connecting land where the owners let people do nature walks.—NY
Great shot, even though you say it doesn't capture the moment. I haven't been sledding/tubing down a snowy embankment for a good 30 years or so, though when I think back on those memories, it seems like just yesterday. Ah, to be a kid again.
