An Evening at the MET
I really should have made a note to myself what kind of art this was. We started into the African Art section and this sort of lead into other types of art like Samoan and New Guinea. Anyway, the pic was shot below the stature and the ceiling was covered with what appeared to be painted shields.—NY
I find myself increasingly turned on by native and ethnic motifs. I don't know if it's because I grew up with them (being from Hawaii and New Mexico) or if it's because they're trendy at the moment. Prolly the latter.
